Hello Friends,
It is disturbing to see the media attention and a lousy customer service rep be treated like some hero for failing to do his job. I'm referring to Stephen Slater, the Jet Blue flight attendant. Every day my staff and I and many other customer service specialists suck it up and attend to the needs of our customers. While it is true that the public has become ever more demanding and difficult to please, but we are paid professionals who chose this line of work.
